Principles & Safety

The Circle welcomes difference without requiring sameness. No member, founder or moderator speaks with unquestionable authority.

Participate with care

• Speak honestly without presenting assumption as fact.
• Question ideas without degrading people.
• Do not pressure anyone to believe, disclose, connect, reply or remain.
• Share only material you have the right and consent to share.
• Do not publish personal information about another person.
• No threats, exploitation, targeted harassment, hate, fraud or sexual content involving minors.

Circle Care

Members can report a post privately, block another member and end a connection without public explanation. Reports are reviewed by authorised people, not decided by popularity. Urgent danger should be reported to local emergency services; the Circle is not an emergency service.

Fair process

Where safe and lawful, moderation should identify the principle involved, limit intervention to what is necessary and allow appeal. Records are access-controlled and retained only as needed.
